Due to the further expansion of this well known brokerage, HRC Recruitment has been asked to assist in their search for a commercial insurance account handler to deal with existing mid/large size risks. 


The role:

  • to assist company director and account executives in the day to day processing of commercial insurance risks.
  • handle new business quotations, renewals, MTA's, policy issue, etc
  • Liase with insurers to build strong working relationships.
  • Offer best advice and rates to commercial insurance clients
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities
  • Update records accurately
  • Comply with FCA guidelines 

The person:

  • You should come from a commercial insurance broking background
  • Have a solid track record of handling most classes of commercial insurance products including property, motor, EL, PL, commercial combined, business interruption, etc
  • Acturis experience preferred but not essential
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • IT literate

Hours of work - Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
