Are you an immediately available Assistant Accountant/Accounts Assistant and looking for a new opportunity?

We are working on an excellent opportunity to join a highly successful and interesting organisation where you will be reporting to both the site manager and accounts team.

This position is on an initial contract basis, however does have scope to go on longer/become permanent. 

Due to this particular requirement, you must be able to start immediately or on a short notice period. 

What will the day to day look like?

  • Sales Ledger
  • Purchase ledger processing and supplier payments
  • Bank processing and reconciliations
  • Oversee the payroll process (currently outsourced)
  • VAT, Intrastat, EC Sales
  • Monthly management account to trial balance
  • Monthly reporting

Are you who we are looking for?

  • Experience of Sage 
  • Advanced excel essential (look up formula, pivot tables, etc)
  • Able to work to deadlines
  • Ability to work on own and within a team
  • Previous experience with foreign currencies and international payments preferred
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
