Overview of Client Money Recs Asst Manager role:

  • Ensure all client deliverables and targets are met and ensure communication with the client is effective
  • Ensure daily Client Money Reconciliations and prepared accurately and on a timely basis
  • Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of the Client Money and Assets Return (CMAR), as required by the FCA
  • Management of daily Cash Breaks MI & coordinating action plans in line with CASS and business requirements
  • Presentation of Management Information in a clear and concise manner to Operational Teams, Clients and Management
  • Preparation and co-ordination of weekly/monthly CASS packs across the business
  • Managing client queries on cash reconciliations & breaks, and attendance on client CASS calls
  • Oversight of cash breaks and querying clearance with operational areas, taking responsibility for ensuring resolution
  • Formulate new procedures and controls for existing and new business processes
  • Work in full compliance with established processes within a highly regulated environment
  • Ensure compliance with CASS control framework at all times
  • Operating within agreed business SLAs and confidentiality standards

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
  • Be able to take ownership of assigned responsibilities
  • Experience of working to strict deadlines, targets, service level agreements
  • Awareness of FCA regulations, specifically CASS 6 and 7 regulations
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and client money and client asset rules
  • Experience of reconciliation functions


  • Professional qualification in accountancy or equivalent combination of education/experience
  • Previous roles within a wrap platform environment
  • Previous roles within the Financial Services Industry
