Conveyancing Assistant / Legal Secretary

Position:  Conveyancing Assistant / Legal Secretary

 

Location:  Glasgow City Centre

 

Salary:  circa £20,000 - £22,000 depending on experience

 

Do you have a proven track record in a Conveyancing based environment?  Are you able to manage a busy caseload?  Do you want to work as part of a productive and efficient team?

 

Working with a well-known, reputable business, you will be supporting a busy Conveyancing team of paralegals, managing a busy caseload.  You will be able to provide support across all administration related duties, as well as step in to support the paralegal workload to cover holidays and illness if required.

 

Your day will be varied, with responsibilities including:

  • Submit registration forms online
  • Advance Notices
  • LBTT Submissions
  • Online Searches
  • Drafting depositions
  • Prioritising dates of entry
  • Land Registrations
  • Title to lenders
  • Settling files
  • Liaising with clients when required (to cover for paralegals)
  • Any other administrative duties required.

With a proven work record in conveyancing and the ability to discuss this in confidence at interview, you will be a good team player and able to work to tight deadlines.
