Are you experienced working as a Finance Assistant and looking for a new challenge?
We are currently working on an excellent opportunity to join a busy organisation based in North Lanarkshire.
This role will be supporting the Finance Team with providing an efficient and accurate accounting function to the business and will be reporting directly into the Finance Manager.
What will the day to day look like?
- Checking employee expenses
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Investigating unnecessary expenditure
- Assisting with purchase ledger invoice processing
- Assisting with processing sales ledger transactions
- Processing journal entries
- Analysis of nominal ledger
Are you who we are looking for?
- You must understand allocation of costs
- Be able to use own judgement
- Understand VAT
- Have excellent organisational skills
- Be able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
- Experience in SAP would be advantageous but not essential
- Be accurate and have excellent attention to detail
This position is working to a 34 hour week.
