HR Assistant – Edinburgh – Salary £25-26K

We have an excellent HR Assistant role available based in Edinburgh working in a small HR function providing hands on support to an HR Manager
Are you what we are looking for?
- You will have experience working in an HR Administration/Assistant level role Ideally in a manufacturing, engineering/unionised environment
- You will have experience taking minutes at HR meetings
- You will have experience booking and scheduling training courses
- You will have excellent excel skills
- You will be extremely well organised and diligent
What does the day to day look like?
- Working along side an HR manager providing HR support
- Supporting with recruitment
- Assisting with setting up new policies and procedures
- Providing first line advice to employees
- Note taking at HR meetings
- Updating HR systems and excel trackers
