HR Assistant – Edinburgh – Salary £25-26K

 

If you are an experienced HR Assistant/Administrator looking to work for a,market leading commercial business this is the opportunity for you

Are you process driven? Are you a completer- finisher? Do you like the idea of looking at HR processes and making improvements?

We have an excellent HR Assistant role available based in Edinburgh working in a small HR function providing hands on support to an HR Manager 

 

Are you what we are looking for?

  • You will have experience working in an HR Administration/Assistant level role Ideally in a manufacturing, engineering/unionised environment
  • You will  have experience taking minutes at HR meetings
  • You will have experience booking and scheduling training courses
  • You will have excellent excel skills
  • You will be extremely well organised and diligent

 

What does the day to day look like?

  • Working along side an HR manager providing HR support
  • Supporting with recruitment
  • Assisting with setting up new policies and procedures
  • Providing first line advice to employees
  • Note taking at HR meetings
  • Updating HR systems and excel trackers
