Learning Technologist, Glasgow City Centre, 12 month contract, salary c£34K (FTE)
“Learning how to learn is life’s most important skill.”
- Tony Buzan
Continuous learning is at the heart of every successful business. People want the chance to self-improve; to progress their career; to feel like they are still on the cutting edge of what is happening in their market.
After all, why would we say that we “learn” from our mistakes if they weren’t what motivated us to do better; what spurred us on to “get it right” the next time?
You understand this. You are of a learning mindset. And you are looking for your next challenge.
You want to work in a company where people want to learn and there is a desire for continuous improvement.
You want to take ownership of an eLearning platform for a successful financial services business in order to provide your colleagues with the opportunity to learn outwith the training room.
You are confident that you would be able to source the best platform, liaising and negotiating with suppliers, in order to deliver the training content.
You would be comfortable uploading training content onto the eLearning platform, making it interesting and digestible for the end user. Your HR experience – both in training and in systems – ensures that you know how to create training modules that encourage and inspire.
You want a role that offers flexibility and this part-time, contract position does just that. You would be working in modern, spacious city centre offices for 17.5 hours per week on a twelve-month contract.
