Role Purpose:
The wordings technician will sit within the new Product Development team, which is an important new function for CLIENT COMPANY, and will ensure that the products and services provided by CLIENT COMPANY and its subsidiaries meet the expectation and needs of the market while maximising viability and ensuring sustainability.
The wordings technician is responsible for managing all aspects of insurance wordings and member literature. Utilising their experience, the wordings technician will support the team throughout the development lifecycle of new and existing products, which will involve working with key stakeholders in underwriting, legal, sales and marketing.
This is an exciting new role that will offer the successful applicant exposure to the UK medical malpractice market from a discretionary and insurance perspective and will not only focus on the management and development of CLIENT COMPANY wordings and member literature but will also allow them to contribute to all elements of product development.

This role will be key to ensuring that CLIENT COMPANY maximises the utility of our collective knowledge and experience to provide our customers with product literature and insurance wordings that clearly define the benefits of membership with the client company. The role is key to creation of a more innovative, customer-centric culture within the company.
There will be regular contact with external stakeholders such as members, prospects and focus groups and internal stakeholders such as colleagues across the Customer and Development directorate, and the wider business, including:
Underwriting
Legal
Membership Services
Marketing
The role will report to the Head of Product development.
