You work well as part of a team, you’re an excellent communicator. You know your strengths and are confident in your ability, but you also know when you are out of your depth and feel comfortable asking for support.
As an experienced support worker, you know the importance of taking the time to really get to know the people that you support, you are passionate about empowering others but recognize the need to go at their pace. You want to see the people that you support live their lives to the fullest and are happy to be along for the journey.
Are you who we’re looking for?
You have at least 6 months UK experience as a Support Worker
You are keen to upskill and add to your training and experience
You have a friendly approach and willingness to really ensure that the people who you support can reach their full potential.
What does the day to day look like?
As well as supporting in the home, you will spend time in the community on social outings or at clubs or workplaces, just to be there to provide any support required, this could be encouragement and reassurance, or practical, physical support.
There are a variety of shifts available including sleepovers
