HRC Recruitment is delighted to be working with this award-winning insurer in their search for a an underwriting assistant to join their commercial insurance underwriting team on a 12 month fixed term contract.
- To support the specialist underwriters in all aspects of underwriting and account management, with a focus on administrative tasks and reporting/analysis.
- Act as first point of contact for brokers and suppliers
- To assist in the preparation of statistics and documentation
- Chasing and managing brokers to ensure that required documents are received
- Collecting and assessing application forms and valuation fees
- Supporting the team with underwriting administration duties
- Experience of working in the commercial insurance market essential
- Understanding of insurance risks and handling new and existing business quotations
- Comprehensive admin skills, excellent IT skills and strong numerical skills
- Ability to build strong relationships essential
This position is on a 12 month fixed term contract
Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
